The Fassa Valley: breathtaking views!
Choosing the Hotel San Marco on the San Pellegrino Pass means being in the right place to set off on your excursions.
- The Costabella Chairlift cuts the journey time to reach the Selle Pass Refuge: follow Path 604 and in around an hour’s walk on an unpaved path you will come to the refuge, where you can have lunch. From there you will have several options for continuing your excursion further.
- We recommend another very scenic but fairly undemanding excursion to Col Margherita, where it is possible to use the cableway to reduce the journey time: follow the signs for “Alta via Mariotta” and then for “Forcella Juribrutto” and finally “Malga Vallazza”. It is worth it for the unique view!
- From your walk to the Fuciade Refuge, continue to the left as far as the Cirelle Pass where there are a great many relics from the Great War. From here a final push will allow you to “conquer” the Cadine Est summit.
