Laghetto di Passo San Pellegrino: a lovely lake that looks like it belongs in a fairy tale. This is an ideal place for spending happy times with the family. It is located a few steps from Hotel San Marco.

Conca di Fuciade: this is an easily accessible paradise that is suitable for families with small children. Immediately upon climbing the hill, take a road on the left that leads to the Miralago refuge. It is a mostly flat walk interspersed with short climbs. Journey time is approximately one hour. It is possible to eat at the famous Rifugio Fuciade, one of the best restaurants in the valley.

"Costabella" chair lift: the chair lift starts from the hotel and quickly reaches marvelous pastures from which you can see marmots peeking out between the stones. Children can run around in the green meadows, breathing in clean air. At the Rifugio Paradiso you can admire a panorama of the Dolomites from the terrace.

Choosing Hotel San Marco at Passo San Pellegrino means already being in the best location for starting your excursions.

The Costabella chairlift shortens the journey time to the Passo Selle refuge: follow path 604 and take an hour-long walk on a trail; you can have lunch at the refuge. From here there are numerous possibilities for continuing the excursion further.

We suggest another very panoramic but not particularly difficult excursion to Col Margherita, where you can use the cable car to shorten the journey time: follow the signs for "Alta via Mariotta,” then for "Forcella Juribrutto" and finally for "Malga Vallazza." It’s worth it for the unique panorama!

From the walk to the Fuciade refuge, continue left up to the Passo delle Cirelle where there are many historical finds from the Great War. From here, with a final effort, it is possible to "conquer" Cima Cadine Est.

Hotel San Marco is undoubtedly the best starting point for some of the most beautiful equipped trails of Val di Fassa.

Bepi Zac equipped trail: First World War battles took place here. From the Rifugio Passo Selle follow sign 637. We recommend you only visit the numerous war trenches if equipped with a helmet with a front. Upon reaching Forcella del Ciadin, you can go down to Passo San Pellegrino or continue for the more challenging second section of the trail.

Gronton in Moena – Lusia equipped trail: this is a relatively simple trail that is only equipped for short sections. It requires a sure foot and no suffering of vertigo due to the presence of tricky sections of the trail that do not have a safety rope. Attention, we advise you not to do this trail in the company of children.
